Healthy ways to enjoy your CHRISTMAS holiday

Christmas holiday is a unique holiday and a very special one. It comes at the end of the year, meaning that it comes at the right time to relax and stay away from the frustrations that the year was loaded with. It's also globally recognized thus your vacation plans won't clash with that of your overseas lover or friend. You should actually enjoy yourself to the fullest given that you will have to wait for 11 more months to see another Christmas. But question is, how will you enjoy it safely? There are two health parameters that you should aim at controlling as you enjoy your holiday. They include controlling stress levels and having a controlled diet.

1. Try touring
Touring has remained being the number 1 choice for anyone who respects the definition of the word holiday. Try hiking, ice skating, touring beaches, islands and zoos. As you are there, get yourself involved as much as possible so as to divert your stressed brain from normal issues that lead to stress like pressure at work, debt and hellish spouse.
Get to know new people and be curious to learn more. Simply put, get yourself involved. However, exercise caution while touring like avoiding dangerous spots when hiking and using life jackets when boat riding. Before visiting a place, investigate first if it will have negative impact on your health like avoiding cold and dusty places if you're asthmatic.

2. Eat rare meals
You might have heard that seafoods boost your sexual desire. This is the right time to get the

coast and try the trick on yourself. You can as well go to areas where you know there are healthy foods but are only found there. Show your belly some love this way instead of overfilling it with booze.

3. Undergo medical checkups
I don't mean that you should always wait until December for you to undergo checkups. Instead,
I imply that this is the right time to undergo checkups so that you can plan your next year with your health in consideration. If possible, carry your whole family so that they too can undergo the tests.

4. Travel upcountry
It might appear as a normal and useless practice, but in real sense it can have positive impacts on your health.
First, you will be away from your drunkard friends hence your frequency of visiting the bar will reduce as you will also want to show your parents how you are a good boy/girl. Secondly, some of the tourist destinations features might be in your Homeland so it will be like an added advantage. For example, if you come from coastal regions then you will enjoy the same priviledges as someone who is paying to get there. You will also meet your old friends that you have really longed to meet and as you share your childhood memories, you are relieving yourself of stress unknowingly.

5. Be active in sports and workouts
If you are a gifted sportsperson, then this is the time to put it into practice so that you regain your almost lost skills and fitness.
Incase you are not a real sports guy, don't worry, you can always do the morning and evening jogging as you visit the gym to become the most muscled guy at your workplace next year. You can as well go and cheer up Chelsea as they play Valencia because you might probably have really wanted to watch them live but you lacked time.

6. Go easy on booze
Christmas comes with booze-tempting moments. Even your own resistance to overdrinking can fail.
Every party that is held must be graced with some beer otherwise it won't be considered a party. Worse still, your friends really want you present so how on Earth can you resist? But with all these temptations, stick to your lane and have only one glass. Don't forget the Golden rule "DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE".

7. Visit children's homes
Set aside one day and go with your whole family to a children's home. Give them gifts and take selfie's with them so that they also feel they are being loved. Adopt one if you can.

8. Learn a new language
Luckily, there are many schools in towns nawadays that teach foreign languages. Join one and give your peers a hard time trying to understand what bonne nuit means in French.

Bad breath causes, treatment, diagnosis and prevention

Bad breath, also called halitosis, can be embarrassing and in some cases may even cause anxiety. It's no wonder that store shelves are overflowing with gum, mints, mouthwashes and other products designed to fight bad breath. But many of these products are only temporary measures because they don't address the cause of the problem. Certain foods, health conditions and habits are among the causes of bad breath. In many cases, you can improve bad breath with consistent proper dental hygiene. If simple self-care techniques don't solve the problem, see your dentist or physician to be sure a more serious condition isn't causing your bad breath. SYMPTOMS Bad breath odors vary, depending on the source or the underlying cause. Some people worry too much about their breath even though they have little or no mouth odor, while others have bad breath and don't know it. Because it's difficult to assess how your own breath smells, ask a close friend or relative...
